Payment International Enterprise ( PIE ) announced,
The Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) has recently completed its QR code -based payment system, enabling it to accept donations for its Ramadan campaign, “Continues Giving.” The QR code is now available across social media ads, flyers, and various other media touchpoints, with the aim of reaching the largest possible number of people. RHF is leading a number of pioneering initiatives that are driving the transformation of payment solutions through digital innovation, and is the largest acquirer of QR code payments with a merchant base of over 3,200 merchants. PIE’s primary mission is to promote financial inclusion by working with banks, telecom companies, and distribution networks to provide efficient financial services that enable customers to reduce their dependence on cash. On this occasion, Fawaz Ghazal, CEO of PIE, said: “Our commitment to a cashless society and the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 began in 2014. Since then, we have worked to provide a number of solutions for consumers, businesses, retailers, the government, and SMEs through our various channels, which include self-service machines, a point-of-sale network, and mobile applications such as e-money, bill payment and collection, payroll solutions, mobile payments, and QR code payments. The outbreak of the pandemic has accelerated the adoption of such technologies, which are expected to become the norm in the world of payments. We are currently developing a roadmap for innovative solutions that will be launched in the coming months. I would also like to thank Diyar Al Muharraq for their trust in PIE to deliver cashless solutions.”
